Execute the Quick Fix my Application from the Tools Hub to address the 'QuickBooks will not open' problem. Any active background processes that QuickBooks utilizes will be shut down by Quick Fix. Choose Program Problems from the QuickBooks Tools Hub. Select Quick Fix My Program and enter your data file in QuickBooks Desktop. Restarting the Desktop is another option. Expand your computer's "Start menu." Choose "Restart" from the "Power Button" menu. Once the restart is complete, launch QuickBooks Desktop.
